How do I edit the price?

Need to make a change to the price of your item listed for sale on boatsales? We’ve got you covered. 

Editing the price on desktop 

1. Sign in to your boatsales account. 
2. Hover the mouse over your name in the top right corner and select Manage Ads from the drop down menu. 
   
   
   
   
3. If you have multiple ads — Select the Manage ad button located on the ad you wish to make changes to. Next, follow instructions in step 4. 
4. If you have one ad — Click on Edit your ad details from the three tabs, and then select the Change button. 
   
   
   
   
   
5. Next click the pencil icon on the right of the sale price field. You can then change the vehicle’s sale price accordingly. 
6. When you’re done, hit ENTER on your keyboard or click on a blank space on the site page for it to update.  
   
   
   

If you are looking to increase the price of your item above the price range your ad package covers, you will not be able to continue. To upgrade to an ad package within your updated price range, select the link which will appear below the sale price field and follow the prompts. 

Once you've submitted the price change, your updated ad will be sent to our Customer Service Team for approval. It may take up to 2 hours for the updated price to appear on the ad. If you’ve lowered or raised your price significantly, our Customer Service Team may try to get in touch to verify this change. 

Editing the price on App 

1. Go to the boatsales App and select the Account tab located at the bottom of your screen. 
2. Sign into your boatsales account (if you haven’t already). 
3. Tap the Sell tab located at the bottom of the screen and then select the Manage my ad tab. 
    
4. Tap the edit button. 
5. Then scroll down and you will see the price field. Enter the new sale price using numbers only (no full stops or commas). 
    
   
   
6. When you are finished, scroll all the way down of the page and tap the Submit Changes button located at the bottom right corner.
